Blackjack is a game where you play against the house. The objective of Blackjack is to make a hand closer to twenty one (21) than the dealer, without going over.

Betting Limits

• $0.10 minimum initial ante.
• $1000 maximum bet.

A Blackjack Game is played against the house and not against other players. When playing in a Blackjack game the player always acts first on their hand. If all players bust the dealer does not act on it's hand, the dealer's hand is however shown.

Bets are placed by clicking on the chip denomination you wish to bet, clicking on multiple chips increases your wager by that much. Clicking on the chips that you have bet will decrease your wager by that much.

All players are dealt 2 cards, including the dealer. One of the dealers cards are dealt face up. Players act on their hand in turn starting with the player to the right of the dealer.

Depending on your 2 cards you may Hit, Stand, Double-Down or Split. Doubling down may be done on any 2 cards. You may split if both your cards are of the same rank (a pair of eights for example)

Blackjack Game Rules:

1. Eight standard 52-card decks
2. Decks are shuffled after every hand
3. Dealer must stand on all 17's
4. Double-Down after splitting pairs is allowed
5. Re-Splitting a pair is allowed
6. Surrendering is not allowed
7. When splitting Aces only one new card is allowed

Hit:

Hitting tells the dealer to give you another card. You can Hit as long as your hand does not go over 21.

Stand:

Standing tells the dealer you do not want any more cards. You may stand at any time.

Split:

Splitting, splits your 2 cards into 2 separate Blackjack hands, Each split hand is dealt a 2nd card.

Splitting may be done only if your 1st 2 cards are paired.

You may not double down after a split.

When splitting Aces, you will receive only the 2nd card for each hand, No additional actions may be taken on spit aces.

Double Down:

When doubling down you must place a 2nd bet equal to your original bet. You then receive 1 and only 1 additional card. No further action is allowed on a doubled hand.

Insurance:

Insurance is a bet where you can protect your original bet in case the dealer has blackjack. To take Insurace, you must place a 2nd bet equal to 1/2 your original bet. If a dealer has Blackjack and you have opted to take Insurace you win 2 times you Insurance bet, you lose your original bet. If you take Insurace and the dealer does not have Blackjack, you lose your Insurace bet and play continues as normal. You may only take Insurance when the dealer's exposed card is an Ace.

If you have Blackjack when the dealer's exposed card is an Ace, you may take even money for your Blackjack, instead of 1 1/2 times your bet as you would normally.

Blackjack Basic strategy simply tells you what to do (Hit, Stand, Double or Split) on every Blackjack hand you are dealt, to give you the best percentage chance of winning.
