The player remaining with the best hand wins. If multiple players tie for the best hand, those players split the pot. |
Omaha Poker Game: Buy-ins
Minimum Buy-inBefore sitting down at a Omaha poker game, players must buy-in at a minimum of 10 times the small bet. For example, in a $2/$4 game the minimum buy-in is $20. Maximum Buy-in

Omaha Poker Game: Dealer Puck
The Dealer Puck identifies which player is acting as the dealer for the current hand. Game play starts with the 1st player to the left of the dealer. When starting a new game, a player is chosen to be the first dealer. This is done by dealing each player a single card starting with seat 1. The player with the highest card starts as the dealer. In the case of a tie, card suit takes precedence ♠♥♦♣ (in order).
The dealer puck rotates around the table player to player in a clockwise fashion. If a player sits down in one of the blind seats while a hand is in progress that player will not be dealt in until the dealer button has passed them. This player will not be allowed to act as the dealer until they have been dealt in at least 1 hand.

Omaha Poker Game: Blinds
Blinds are used to increase interest in each pot. Blinds count toward the players normal bets. Small Blind
The 1st player to the left of the dealer has the small blind and must post ½ the small bet for the table. For example, in a $2/$4 game the small blind would be $1. Big Blind
The 2nd player to the left of the dealer has the big blind and must post a full small bet for the table. For example, in a $2/$4 game the big blind would be $2. Missed Blind
Players with a missed blind button may not play without posting both the small and big blinds at once. The small blind portion is considered 'Dead Money' and does not count toward the players bet. Players may wait for the big blind to come to them and post the blinds normally.

Omaha High Low Poker Game: Split
Omaha High Low Poker Split games are noted by the text "Hi/8Low" next to the table game in the poker room lobby. To qualify for a low hand when playing Omaha High Low poker split, you must be able to play 5 unique cards that have a face value of 8 or under (Aces may be used as a low card). Straights and flushes do not count when playing for a low hand, in fact, A♥ 2♥ 3♥ 4♥ 5♥ (straight flush) is the lowest possible hand.
A player may qualify for both High and Low hands by using 1 or more combinations of a 5 card poker hand. For Example: Say you have A♥ A♠ K♠ 2♥ as your hole cards and the board cards are 3♠ 4♥ 8♦ 9♣ Q♣. You could play your A♥ and A♠ in your hand with the board cards 8♦ 9♣ Q♣ for your high hand and use your A and 2 with the board cards 3♠ 4♥ 8♦ to make a low hand.
If there is no low hand possible then the player with the highest poker hand wins the whole pot. No low hand is possible where there are not at least 3 cards that are 8 and under on the board. If one player wins the high hand and one player wins the low hand the pot is split evenly between those 2 players. If an odd chip remains after the even split the player with the high hand wins the extra chip If multiple players tie for the low hand and one player wins the high hand, the player with the high hand wins 1/2 the pot and the players with the low hand split the other 1/2.
